PLATINUM GRAND PRIX (Indycar mod) |

Hey everybody, here's the Platinum Grand Prix multimod. The first featured series is the Indycar Series - 2009 Season.
    
The models are used under Mike Peters license and approval. You guys can visit the petermotorsports.com website to see more of the Mike's superb professional work.
The mod's base, called from now on Platinum Grand Prix (or simply Platinum GP) will be possibly used for future open wheel submods like F1, Indy Lights, GP2, etc...
The models are provided in both oval and road configurations. The same physics for all but, different look on wings an tires.
Four special track packs (IRL Track Packs) brings updated tracks, with custom AI for the IRL series. Oval road tracks are present. That's the brick that was missing to finish the oval-road crossover we had planned.
Thanks Raybee for the installers and facilities. DaveO for the comfortable setups and once again, Mike Peter for the awesome models.

We are proud to announce the official release of HeatFinder 2.
We have worked long & hard to create a better NASCAR Heat server listing so that we can get back to the days of friends racing for fun, back to the days of IRF for those of you that remember!
I would like to thank Suchayo for the development of the HF 1 backbone which was the foundation for the current. Also for the development of the new HeatFinder Launcher 2.0 that is now available to the public! Thank You Suchayo!
Also special thanks to Reef for testing out end-user features and programs as well as making suggestions for additions and changes to HF 2! Thank You Reef!
Coinciding with the HF 2 release, the new HeatFinder Launcher 2.0 program is being released (formally known as NHLauncher), the new program will display the server listing from HeatFinder as well as allow you to connect to the servers directly from the list!

3DSimED Version 2 |

Version 2 of 3DSimED has recently been released.
"I would say it's more of an evolution than a revolution but there are some additions which I think could prove to be very useful, and I will continue to add support for new sims as they arrive and new features that you as users request and need.
There is support for both Nascar Heat and Viper Racing .MOD and .GRF. Some of the texture formats used by Heat and Viper Racing are also supported.
Sky objects from the ISI format sims (F1-2002 through to Race 07) can be rendered behind other objects, very useful when walking a track.

2006 CTS Released |

Guys I'm pleased to announce the release of the 2006 CTS. Thanks to a few guys hard work we can see just how exciting it is to rub fenders with Mark Martin in a truck! I hope that you enjoy this mod as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
Thanks to Jimmyjak, Sofa747 and none other than Raybee. Several folks tested the mod (you guys got a jump start on everyone), Thank you for your efforts.
Note: Make sure when you to download the Mod you get all 110megs of the install and Raybee has included all the Templates/Zmod files in the download. You will need Winrar a free program from the internet to unpack the templates. They will be located in the "Template" folder under the main "2006cts" folder. Please read the readmefirst.txt file.
In the event you have any problems, comments, or questions please respond in this post. This will keep all the CTS concerns in one nice neat post!

COT Super Pack released |

Finally, guys!!! Enjoy!!
The Super Pack improvements, for the COT mod consists of:
» Massive remodeling of the cars in order to improve the resemblance between the models and the real cars since the mod was released prior the real cars hit the tracks and a lot of things were changed from the prototype car to the Nascar approved cars. Splitters and wings (specially the brackets) are now the correct size and shape.
» In the remodeling process, it was possible to enhance the damage scheme and decrease considerably the poly count of the models. So, despite of the increasing of details, the models have now much less polys and that will improve the frame rate (FPS) for the guys who have older computers or weak video cards.

Green flag, everybody!!!!
The "COT Advanced Edition" for Nascar Heat is out!! Enjoy!!
Hope you guys like it!! A lot of effort was put in this mod..... and not by a single person but... a lot of people!! I hope all their names are correctly displayed at the white frame at "Options" screen.
Forgive me if I forgot someone, as I said, they are so many....
This way, I just want (again) to say THANK YOU to those people!!
Thanks to Justin Jacobs for giving permission to use his rFactor Cot model and templates as base to the Heat's models.
Thanks to Gonk24 and TWChad (TeamWestside) for giving permission to use a lot of their previous "babies" on this mod. Cockpits and its acessories and the whole regular "spoiler models" for the Advanced edition. They never denied anything I needed!! THANK YOU for such great stuff, guys!!
A huge THANKS to Raybee1970 for his tech support, patience and knowledge!! He had to clean up a lot of stupid mistakes I did on the process of making this mod!!
Also thanks to all users and the precious feedback you sent me!! A lot of things were improved or fixed based on your feedbacks!! "Preseason Edition" had almost 900 downloads in the last three months!!! Wow!!!
The Hi-resolution carsets are also available for download. See the link right below the mod's link. If your computer can handle hi-res textures.....it's highly recomended. The cars looks a lot better in hi-res!!!
